     Anne Doucet was born on 26 August 1703 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1,2 She was the daughter of Claude Doucet dit Maître Jean and Marie Comeau. Anne Doucet was christened on 9 September 1703 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1

Anne Doucet, age 19, married François Chiasson, son of Gabriel Chiasson dit Pierre and Marie Savoie, on 3 November 1722 at St-Jean-Baptiste Paroisse, Annapolis Royal, Colony of Nova Scotia.3,1,2

François Chiasson, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 60 years, he has been 25 years in the country. Married to Anne Dousset, native of l'Acadie, aged 48 years. Anne Doucet died in 1758 at sea bound for France.1,2
