     Peter II de Courtenay , Latin Emperor of Constantinople was born circa 1155.1 He was the son of Peter of France , Prince of France and Elizabeth de Courtenay. Peter became, in 1184, the Comte de Nevers.1

Peter II de Courtenay , Latin Emperor of Constantinople married first wife.1 Peter became, in 1193, the County of Courtenay.1

Peter II de Courtenay , Latin Emperor of Constantinople married Yolande of Flanders , Countess of Namur, daughter of Baldwin V le Courageux , Count of Hainaut and Namur and Marguerite of Lorraine, on 1 July 1193 at Soissons, Aisne, Hauts-de-France, France.1 Peter became, in 1199, the Count of Auxerre and Tonnerre.1 Peter became, in 1212, the Marquis of Namur. He held the tiltle until 1219.1 Peter was crowned the Latin Emperor of Constantinople in 1217.1 He died after June 1219 at Eperus, Empire of the East.1
