     Andrew O'Neil was born on 13 June 1860 at Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales.1,2,3,4 He was the son of John O'Neil and Catherine Dwyer. Andrew O'Neilappeared on the Wales census of 1871 in the household of John O'Neil and Catherine Dwyer at Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales.5 Andrew was a plate layer.

Andrew O'Neil, age 18, married Mary Ann Reardon, age 18 , daughter of John Reardon and Margaret Green, on 11 May 1879 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales.1,6,2,7,8,9,10 Andrew and Mary, appeared on the Wales census of 1881 at 23 Swansea Road, Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales.11 According to the Welch census in 1881, Andrew was a laborer.11 He immigrated in 1885 to the United States finding a home, then arranging for his wife and children to come over.1,12 He was naturalized on 25 March 1891.1 Andrew, age 39 years, and Mary, age 39 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at 81 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1 According to the Federal Census in 1900, Andrew was a puddler.1 Andrew, age 49 years, and Mary, age 49 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.13 According to the Federal Census in 1910, Andrew was a laborer doing street work.13 Andrew, age 59 years, and Mary, age 59 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 131 Wardens Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.12 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Andrew was a laborer.12

Andrew O'Neil married Kresenze Mahler, daughter of Joseph Mahler.14,15 Andrew, appeared on the census of 1930 at 109 Craighead Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as a boarder.16 According to the Federal Census in 1930, Andrew was a laborer for the City of Pittsburgh, and a widower.16 Andrew, age 79 years, and Kresenze, age 68 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at 109 Craighead Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.17 According to the Federal Census in 1940, Andrew was an owner of a boarding house.17 He died on 28 November 1941 at 109 Craighead Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 81 from lobar pneumonia.3,18,4 Andrew's obituary of 29 November 1941, reads:

He was buried on 1 December 1941 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.3,18,4
