     Mary Ann Reardon was born on 5 November 1860 at Plymouth, Devonshire, England.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 She was the daughter of John Reardon and Margaret Green. Mary Ann Reardon, age 31 years, appeared on the Wales Census of 1871 in the household of Margaret Green at Cardiff Union Workhouse, Cardiff, Glamorganshire, Wales.9,8

Mary Ann Reardon, age 18, married Andrew O'Neil, age 18 , son of John O'Neil and Catherine Dwyer, on 11 May 1879 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales.1,10,2,11,6,7,8 Mary and Andrew, appeared on the Wales census of 1881 at 23 Swansea Road, Merthyr Tydfil, Breconshire, Glamorganshire, Wales.12 Mary Ann Reardon immigrated on 20 January 1886 to the United States landing at Ellis Island in New York. She came aboard the SS Helvetia with her three oldest children having left Liverpool on 20 January 1886. Once processed, they went to Pittsbugh, Pennsylvania, to join her husband, Andrew, who was already there.1,13,8 Mary, age 39 years, and Andrew, age 39 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 at 81 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.1 Mary, age 49 years, and Andrew, age 49 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.14 Mary, age 59 years, and Andrew, age 59 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 131 Wardens Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.15 In 1923, the year Mary died, she lived at 636 South Main Street, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She died on 12 April 1923 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at age 62.3,16,4,5,8 Mary's obituary of 15 April 1923, reads:

Mrs. Mary Ann O'Niell Dies

Mrs. Wary Ann O'Neil, died Thursday at her home, 636 Main St., Westend. She was born In England and came to this country when quite young. She was a member of St James' church. Westend. She la survived by her husband, Andrew O'Niell; four sons, P. J , B. A., M. J., and John O'Niell, and six daughters. Mrs. M. Canon. Mrs, P. Splane, Mrs. P. V. Scully. Mrs. H. Jackiawark, Mrs. C. Robert, Mamie O'Niell and Cecelia O'Niel.16
