Sarah Platt was born on 30 May 1697 at Norwalk, Connecticut.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of John Platt and Sarah Lockwood.1
Sarah Platt married Nathan Whitney, son of John Whitney and Elizabeth Smith, circa 1715 at Norwalk, Connecticut.5,1,2 Sarah and Nathanmoved to Cortlandt, Westchester County, New York, as early as 1747. Cortlandt is now Yorktown.6,5 Sarah Platt died on 10 November 1750 at Ridgefield, Connecticut, at age 53.7
