Jean Ruth Smith died on 13 May 2015 at VNA Hospital, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania, at age 75.10,5 Jean's obituary of 19 May 2015, reads:

Jean R. Davis, 75, of Slippery Rock Borough passed away May 13 at the VNA Hospice in Butler.

Jean was born on Sept. 13, 1939, in Lowell, Mass. She married Gary Lynn Davis on Nov. 15, 1985. She had worked in retail sales and had previously worked for the Penny's Company. She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed a good book, beautiful gardens and loved to dance.

She is survived by her husband, Gary at home; one daughter, Jennifer Iorio and her husband, Robert Iorio of Coral Springs, Fla; two sons, Gordon Davis and his wife, Christine Davis, of Butler and Gary Davis; five grandchildren; and one brother, Jeffery Smith of Saxonburg.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Smith Farmer, and two brothers.
DAVIS - Services for Jean R. Davis, who died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, will be private.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.5
