     Ferdinand III the Saint , King of Castile was born in July 1201 or August 1201 at Kingdom of Castile.1,2 He was the son of Alfonso IX el Barboro and Berengaria of Castile. Ferdinand was crowned the King of Castile, Toledo, and Extremadura in 1217.1

Ferdinand III the Saint , King of Castile married Ethisa von Hohenstauffen, daughter of Philip II von Hohenstauffen , Emperor of Germany and Irene Angelica , Queen of Sicily.3 Ferdinand was crowned the King of Léon, Galicia, and Cordoba in 1230.1

Ferdinand III the Saint , King of Castile married Jeanne de Dammartin, daughter of Simon II de Dammartin , Count of Aumale and Marie of Ponthieu , Countess of Ponthieu and Montreuil, in 1237 at Burgos, Castile, Spain.1,2 Ferdinand III the Saint , King of Castile died on 30 May 1253 at Seville, Andalusia, Spain.1,4,2,5 Ferdinand was canonized by Pope Clement X in 1671.1,4
