     Elizabeth Irene Hennessey was born on 23 November 1884 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Dennis J Hennessey and Mary Ellen Carroll. Elizabeth Irene Hennesseyappeared on the US Census of 1900 in the household of Dennis J Hennessey and Mary Ellen Carroll at 156 Henry Street, Binghamton, Broome County, New York.1 Elizabeth Irene Hennesseyappeared on the US Census of 1910 in the household of Mary Ellen Carroll at Pine Street, Binghamton, Broome County, New York.3 According to the census in 1910, Elizabeth was a telephone operator.3 She and Aloysius Francis Gallagher obtained a marriage license on 13 May 1913 at Binghamton, Broome County, New York.4

Elizabeth Irene Hennessey, age 28, married Aloysius Francis Gallagher, age 28 , son of Francis Gallagher and Anna Elizabeth Donovan, on 14 May 1913.5 Elizabeth, age 35 years, and Aloysius, age 35 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 15 Lathrop Avenue, Binghamton, Broome County, New York.6 Elizabeth, age 45 years, and Aloysius, age 45 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 937 Grandview Street, Scranton, Pennsylvania.7 Elizabeth, age 55 years, and Aloysius, age 55 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 at Haverford, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.8,9 Elizabeth and Aloysius lived in 1942 at Scranton, Pennsylvania.10 Elizabeth Irene Hennessey died on 2 September 1966 at Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, at age 81.2,11 Elizabeth's obituary of 4 September 1966, reads:

GALLAGHER ELIZABETH IRENE, Sept. 2, 1966 (nee Hennessy) age 82. beloved wife of A. F. Gallagher, of 5010 Dermond Rd, Drexel Hill, Pa. Solemn Requiem Mass Tues., 11 A.M., at St. Dorothy's Church, Township Line & Burmont Rd, Drexel Hill, Pa. Relatives and Friends are requested to arrive in time to form funeral procession at St. Dorothy's Church at 10:30 A.M. Int. Calvary Cem. No viewing Mon eve. Contributions in her name may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Edmond's Home for crippled children, Rosemont. Pa. (Arrangements by GIBSON FUNERAL HOME. Broomall, Pa.).11


She was buried on 6 September 1966 at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.2,11
